Prepare for a Healthcare Career

As you consider a career in healthcare it is important to remember that there is no one right way to prepare or specific set of steps to follow.

There are many different activities to not only help determine your interest but also to help you prepare for your future career.  You can chart your own journey and participate in activities and experiences that suit your interests and chosen career in healthcare. As you think about preparation, remember that the primary goal is to ensure that you know what the career entails and have experiences that prepare you to be successful in that career. We have a number of resources to help you and encourage you to take advantage of them. 

It is important to understand that there is no set timeline for pursuing a career in healthcare. Your path will (and should) look different from other students' because it is based on your interests, the activities you want to pursue, and the timing that works for you.
