Although there is much variation in each applicant's timeline, we have provided two sample timelines below to help you see some options that might work for you. The first timeline is for students who are planning at least one gap year before attending professional school. The second timeline is for students who do not plan to take a gap year. If you plan to take additional gap years, or you didn’t decide on a healthcare career until later in your academic journey, you can shift these timelines accordingly or make up your own. All of these are equally strong paths and the admissions committees of the schools want to see that you followed the timeline that worked best for you.
