The GRE may be required for admission to Physician Assistant, Veterinary Medicine, Optometry, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapist, Nursing and Post- Baccalaureate programs. The exam is offered continually throughout the year and there are two types of tests, the General Test and the Subject Tests. Most health professional schools that require the GRE only require the general test, but it is important that you review the requirements of the schools to which you plan to apply. For in depth details about the test, its sections, scheduling, scoring and preparation materials, we encourage you to explore the ETS website.
